Plot

Ji-Yeon (Lim Soo-Jung) works at a bar in Macao to pay off debts owed by a former friend and ex-business partner. Sung-Yeol (Yoo Yeon-Seok) offers Ji-Yeon a way out. She soon boards the lavish yacht owned by his father, Kim Seok-Koo (Lee Kyoung-Young). A dangerous, high-stakes game of deception takes place on the yacht between Ji-Yeon, Sung-Yeol and Kim Seok-Koo.

Notes

1. Based on French novel “La Femme de paille” by Catherine Arley (first published 1956 by Editions Jeheber). 1964 U.S. film “Woman of Straw” starring Gina Lollobrigida & Sean Connery is also based on the novel “La Femme de paille”.
2. Filming began February 21, 2014 and finished early June, 2014 in Macao. Scenes were shot in Macao as the backdrop for a top casino and yacht.
